Been a while since you have been in the water? Or just yet want to brush up on you skills? If this is the case then an Awesome Scuba review course is for you.

We are at Jellie Park pool, Christchurch and ASB Pool, Nelson each month. Timing can vary each month, contact us for times of the next session in your region.

Book online and have one of Awesome Scuba’s Instructors take you through your skills to refresh your memory on things you may have forgotten.

Prior bookings are required to ensure we have the correct size gear at the pool for you.

Course content

Awesome Scuba’s experienced instructors will guide you through the scuba knowledge you learned during your initial training. Then, practice skills in the pool.

Scuba review covers:

Safe diving practices
Dive planning fundamentals
Problem management
Breathing air at depth
Recreational diving and dive tables: basic knowledge
Recreational diving and dive tables: dive planning

After completing the knowledge assessment, you go through the Confined Water Skills preview.

Who is it for?

The Awesome Scuba Review is great if you:

Are a PADI Open Water Diver course referral student who wants a refresher prior to making your open water training dives.
Are a PADI Scuba Diver who wants to upgrade to Open Water Diver.
Haven’t scuba dived in a while and want make sure you still remember the basics.

Course requirements

To enrol in this course you must fulfil both criteria:

Hold a scuba diver certification (proof must be shown) or be enrolled in a scuba certification course.
Be at least 10 years old.

Awesome Scuba provides all of the equipment needed for our courses, we do however recommend as a minimum that you have your own mask, snorkel and fins.
